My 20's were very busy: graduated college, got married, had 2 kids, got a job, got another job, moved 2 times, made some great friends, rekindled old friendships, current friendships got even stronger...and much, much more!
I'm excited about my 30's. Getting older has never scared me, but I'm not usually a "live in the past" type person either. Everyone around me who has already entered their 30's say that it really is the best time of their lives. They have more confidence in who they are, and are more willing/able to make any changes. I feel like I should have goals for the coming years, but I only have one big goal...to live my life and enjoy. It is so easy to get caught up in the bad, and not appreciate what's really going on.
I look forward to being with Hubby. I cannot wait to see how our relationship grows and changes, I see good things in our future. And really, who wouldn't look forward to spending time with him?
I look forward to spending time with my kids. I cannot wait to see how they grow and change. As much as I don't want them to get bigger, I cannot wait to see what they grow up to be.
I look forward to hanging out with friends. I cannot wait to see what new friends I make, and how the "old" friendships grow.
And I look forward to seeing what each day brings me. I'm excited to see what happens in the years to come.
To start my 30's, I thought I would see if anyone had any questions for me. Anything about myself? My family? Parenting advise (haha)? Anything?
Happy happy birthday!!! Wahoo for the big 3-0! Um...I would ask you what your parenting style is - I've heard so many different things about stuff - attachment parenting, baby-lead weaning, etc. What's worked best for you?
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to you! I hope you had a great time today.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a cute family!
